Transportation is an essential aspect of everyday life. For people with intellectual disabilities transportation is one the largest barriers to community participation and a cause of inequality. However, digital technologies can reduce barriers for transportation use for people with intellectual disabilities and increase community mobility. The aim of this scoping review was to identify and map existing research on digital technology support for independent transport for people with intellectual disabilities and to identify knowledge gaps relevant for further research. The authors conducted a scoping review of articles presenting digital technologies designed to assist in outdoor navigation for people with intellectual disabilities. The search yielded 3195 items, of which 45 were reviewed and 13 included in this study. The results show that while a variation of design elements was utilized, digital technologies can effectively support individuals with intellectual disability in transport. Further research should focus on multiple contexts and types of transportation, different support needs during independent travel, real-world settings, participatory approaches, and the role of user training to enhance the adoption of digital technologies.

Reaction time (RT), thought to be important for acquiring a full understanding
of the establishment of equivalence classes, has been reported in a number
of studies within the area of stimulus equivalence research. In this study,
we trained 3 classes of potentially 3 members, with arbitrary stimuli in a one-to-
many training structure in 5 adult participants, using a touch screen and
software-based recordings. After training the conditional relations, a limited
hold (LH) was calculated for each of the 5 participants based on actual RT.
Training with a titrating LH in 100-ms steps was conducted until all the participants
responded within 1.2 s. Finally, programmed consequences were
thinned before testing. We arranged an LH of 2.5 s during the testing for
emergent relations. 1 of the 5 participants was found to demonstrate stimulus
equivalence. The pattern of increasing RT from baseline trials to symmetry
and equivalence test trials was not found

Det finnes få empiriske studier av om opplæring i samtalepreget veiledning har effekt i form av økte veiledningsferdigheter. På tross av manglende systematisk empiri, er opplæring i veiledning svært utbredt. I vår studie har vi operasjonalisert grunnleggende veiledningsferdigheter og utviklet et måleinstrument2 med totalt 11 variabler. Fem deltakere har gjennomgått et opplæringsprogram basert på basislinjemålinger, og effektene er målt med samme måleinstrumentet i en multippel basislinjedesign inkludert en oppfølgingsfase. Vi presenterer måleinstrumentet, treningsprosedyren og resultatene. Vi påpeker fremtidige studiers forbedringspotensial.

En gjennomgang av 5 deltakere som fikk tidrestriksjoner på respondering i en matching-to-sample oppgave og i testing av ikke-trente relsjoner. Funn viste at kun 1 av 5 responderte i henhold til ekvivalens. Funn drøftes opp mot kognitive studier av reaksjonstid og tidligere studier av tidsrestriksjoner innen stimulusekvivalens.

Effects of staff training package on incidental teaching.

A staff training package of short duration including video, lecture and role play of incidental teaching principles was introduced to participants. A baseline of performance and a posttest showed improved occurance of this technigue by the participants. Follow - up showed a decline i performance.

Improving consulting and behavior using a newly developed checklist.

A list of operationalized criterias for consultation was developed, and reliability across observers were calculatede. Five participants were trained using a micro-feedback model in role plays in a triad for a total of 20 minutes. A multippel baseline across participants were used. Improvement after interventions was observed and a set back on follow-up leading to a boost session conclusion for the applied field in the future.
