Early admissions

Tution fees at UiA

Students with citizenship from countries outside of the EU/EEA and Switzerland must pay tuition fees. Please read more about the tuition fees here.

The deadline for applying for early admission is 1 March and you will receive the results by 20 May.

All admissions requirements must be met by the deadline above. Applications and documents received after this date will not be taken into consideration. 

You must have a GPA that indicates that you would have received an offer of admission last year with a good margin.

International applicants from non-EU/non-EEA countries cannot apply for early admission.

You may qualify for early admission if you:

  • Are employed and are required to give notice or take a leave of absence.
    Documentation required - Written statement from your employer or an employment contract plus last month’s pay slip.
  • Are self-employed and must dissolve a sole proprietorship/business because of your studies.
    Documentation required - Certificate from the Tax Office/The Brønnøysund Register Centre.
  • Have children who need daycare or have to change schools.
    Documentation required - Certificate of Residence for you and your children from the Tax Office.
  • Have to move with your family.
    Documentation required - Certificate of Residence for you and your spouse from the Tax Office.
  • Need practical assistance at the university.
    Documentation required - Certificate from a relevant specialist. Please contact the Office for Students with Disabilities for more information.
  • Have a temporary residence permit, and need a renewed residence permit in order to study.
    Documentation required - Copy of your residence card or relevant pages of your passport. This does not apply for applicants from EU/EEA countries.
