Guest at UiA

As a guest at UiA, you have the opportunity to connect to our wireless network, create an account for printing, and register as a borrower at the university library.

If you are affiliated with another educational institution

  • Access to eduroam: With a portable device, you can log in to the eduroam network using your username and password. Don't forget to include the at symbol (@) followed by the domain of your institution (for example: user@myuniversity.no). Please note that eduroam provides access to resources at your own institution, not UiA's.

If you are not affiliated with an educational institution

  • UiA Guest: Access to UiA's resources is available via the UiA Guest network for those with portable devices. Just open a browser, register with your mobile number, and you will immediately receive a username and password valid for 12 hours.
  • Guest Account: Employees can create Eduroam guest accounts for visitors. This is done on minside.uia.no, the account activates within 30 minutes and is valid for 30 days. These accounts are only for use on campus and do not provide VPN access.
  • Using the library's PCs: To use stationary computers, you can contact UiA Help for assistance to get a guest account set up.
