Printing costs
- Black and white: 0.70 NOK per page
- Color: 1.00 NOK per page
- New students receive 50 NOK in print credits.
Students can top up via self-service machines located at UiA Help. Employees are billed through their department.
More information
- Printing from various applications like Outlook, Word, and Adobe Reader is supported through print drivers installed through ClickIT.
- External users can create an account at print.uia.no to use the services.

Printing for guests at UiA
External visitors at the University of Agder (UiA) can easily use our printing services by following these steps:
Creating a Print Account
- Visit the print portal: Go to print.uia.no and select "Create account".
- Register: Enter your email address and a password. The password must contain at least 6 characters, including both upper and lower case letters.
- Activate the account: After registration, you will receive an email. Follow the link in the email to activate your print account. Upon activation, you can send documents to the print server.
Topping Up Print Credits
- To print, you must have print credits in your account. This is done at UiA Help's self-service machines. Log in with your email and top up the desired amount (minimum 10 NOK).
Printing and Logging in at Physical Printers
- Receive PIN code: After activating your account, you will receive a new email from myprint@uia.no with a personal six-digit PIN code.
- Log in at the printer: At the printer, use your six-digit PIN under User-ID / Bruker-ID. No password is necessary, just press "Log in / Logg på".
- Access to the print queue: In the login window, select "Bypass / Omgå". Then select "Pull print / Hent utskrift" to access your documents. The printer also provides access to other functions such as scanning to email and copying.
