If you have not been assigned a supervisor, contact your study programme coordinator.
You should only use this agreement if you have been informed of it by your faculty.
The supervision agreement must include:
- Supervision terms and conditions.
- Requirements for the Master’s thesis
The supervisor represents the faculty when entering into an agreement.
How to enter into a supervision agreement
- Discuss the various elements of the agreement with your main supervisor.
- Fill out the agreement as best you can. If certain information has not been determined to this point, such as title or theme, it is possible to make changes in following versions of the agreement (you can submit a new agreement).
Approvals from NSD or REK: Answer yes if you have to:
- Process personal information. You will need approval from NSD Data Protection Services.
- Implement a project that falls under the Health Research Act. You will have to familiarise yourself with Rekportalen.
If this is related to your project, speak to your supervisor about it.
- Once you have submitted the agreement (click on "Submit"), the main supervisor receives it for approval. After approval, the agreement is archived in UiA's archive.
