UiA logo

UiA's logos are for use by all. They give the university a cohesive identity. When we use our logos, UiA appears as a united and comprehensive entity across all digital and physical formats. All units that are wholly owned by UiA are required to use the UiA logo.

Main rule - UiA logo uses red, white or black

Clear space around the logo

Maintaining a clear space between the logo and other graphic elements ensures easy recognition and a clear sender identity. The exclusion zone is the minimum amount of room between the logo and the edge of the surface or other elements on the same surface. It is defined by the width of the logo symbol.

This is a general rule and the logo can in principle be placed freely on the surface, as long as the clear space rule is followed.

Who should not use the UiA logo?

  • Study programmes
Should not have their own logo.
  • Roles and functions
Names of roles and functions should stand on their own, but the UiA logo should appear nearby to clearly indicate the sender. The name of the role or function should be written in the Acumin Pro Bold profile font.
  • Events
Events wholly or partially backed by UiA can have their own logo and visual profile. When the UiA logo appears as the sender, ensure the profile colour is correct.
  • Research groups
Research groups wholly owned by the university should not have a separate logo, since we are all under the same brand. The acronyms used will stand out even without a logo. Text and images should be used to communicate the work undertaken and why.
  • Project logos
Collaborative projects can have their own logos. When the UiA logo appears as the sender, it must have the correct profile colour.
