Innhold

• The writing process;

• Academic English word choice and diction;

• Structuring a paper;

• Correcting common errors;

• Using English paragraphs;

• Writing effective academic sentences;

• Appropriate transitions and connecting words;

• Proper verb tenses;

• Clarity and conciseness.

 

All students will work on a scientific article, continuously improving it, and finally submitting it to a selected conference. All students are expected to write a short summary of their article before the course start.

Læringsutbytte

After completing the course, the candidate is expected to:

• Be able to write a scientific article in English

• Be able to communicate research results clearly and concisely

4-5 gatherings. Lecturing combined with one-to-one supervision.

Eksamen

Evaluation of written article (ready for submission).
Grade: Pass/Fail
