The contents will be tailored to the candidate’s needs and will typically be taken under the guidance of the dissertation mentor. The material will be a reading list as per agreement between the candidate and supervisor.

Acquisition of a working knowledge of an advanced theory or methods, algorithms, etc. that emanate from one or more research questions of the candidate’s dissertation.
