Innhold
The Internship is an opportunity to work in a Norwegian company and offers valuable practical experience and insight into real-world business challenges. It will put academic learning into a contextual and applied perspective. The Internship work goes in parallel with classes in the fall semester and is unpaid. Students¿ work in the companies will be prepared, checked and supervised by a professor at UiA's School of Business and Law.

On the successful completion of the Internship, the student should:

Vilkår for å gå opp til eksamen
Approved a minimum of 300 hours of attendance in the enterprise, in accordance with the individual work-plan.
Undervisnings- og læringsformer
The total workload of the Internship program in the selected companies is approximately 300 hours. Distribution of the work load will be decided by each company in conjunction with UiA to fit with the students class schedule at UiA and practical needs and arrangements in the enterprise.
The main work tasks will be agreed with each company in advance, but shall be related to core competences of the students business education, e.g. in management, marketing, finance, strategy, accounting, and management control.
By the end of the Internship the student will submit a paper (10-20 pages) related to the specific practice experience. The total workload included preparing and writing the final paper is approximately 400 hours.

Students will have to apply for admission for this course. The selection of candidates will be based upon grades, a motivation letter and interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview.
