Specialization courses in the Shift entrepreneurship and business program or the Shift entrepreneurship and innovation program

Innhold

The specialization project constitutes a written assignment aimed at providing the students with deeper insights into topics related to entrepreneurship, commercialization and innovation. Students work in groups of 2-3 on a topic of their choice and deliver a project report that could serve as the basis for a later master thesis. 

Læringsutbytte

Upon successful completion of the course, the students should:

• Have advanced knowledge of one or more central research issues related to entrepreneurship, commercialization, and/or the students chosen specialization courses (e.g. International Business or Business Controlling)

• Be able to identify and gather relevant information

• Be able to critically assess and evaluate research and generate insight from key findings

• Be able to communicate scholarly issues through written text and oral presentation

Vilkår for å gå opp til eksamen

Students need to present their projects and provide written feedback on the other students’ projects. Further information will be given on Canvas at the start of the semester.

Undervisnings- og læringsformer

Group project. Seminars. Approximate workload is 420 hours.

Studentevaluering

Student evaluation is carried out as a midway evaluation and in accordance with the normal arrangement as described in the quality assurance system, chapter 2.1.1. If necessary, a possible end of semester evaluation may be implemented.

Eksamen

Group project report. Grading by letters with one grade for the whole group. More information is provided on Canvas.
