IN-605 - Research Issue in International Entrepreneurship
The purpose of the course is to introduce students to current research frontiers in international entrepreneurship. The aim of the course is to put international entrepreneurial research into general theoretical frameworks within organization sciences, as eg. institutional theory, evolutionary theory, the resource based view, and transaction cost theory. The course focuses on a few specific areas of research, which we will present, discuss, and criticize. Topics will be selected on the basis of novelty (cutting-edge research), importance (key issues), and the research interests of course faculty and participants. The general aim is to create an understanding of international entrepreneurship rooted in general theories of organizations and strategy.
