Modern Roses

The modern rose garden in front of the large cylindrical building, "The Riding Hall", presents examples of modern roses. Modern roses are roses and rose groups that have been cultivated after 1867.

In a rosarium, the emphasis is placed on a systematic arrangement of cultivars and varieties, while in our modern rose garden, we have focused more on the aesthetic expression.

Here, you will find bush and climbing roses, ground cover roses, as well as stem and cluster roses.

We aim to present robust roses and use as few pesticides as possible. Therefore, the varieties are evaluated from year to year, and roses susceptible to diseases are replaced.
