Eg har arbeidd ein del med magi og rituell praksis i seinantikken, og ønskjer å arbeide vidare med korleis forskarar tek i bruk og arbeider med oldssaker med og utan kjend opphav. I tillegg arbeider eg med mangfald og representasjon i religiondidaktikk. Eg underviser ganske breidt innanfor religionsvitskap, med tyngd på religionshistorie, teori og religionsmangfald, og òg i lærarutdanninga, kor eg er involvert i både RE og KRLE.

Forskning

Forskingsinteressene mine handlar om religionshistorie, fagteori, religiøs praksis, ritual, folketru, magi, materiell kultur og faghistorie.

Undervisning

Innanfor religionsvitskap underviser eg om heilage skrifter, tolkingshistorie og teoretiske retningar, samt religion og samfunn. I lærarutdanningane underviser eg i KRLE for lærarstudentar, i religionsdidaktikk og ulike tema.
