Integration of electronic patient reported outcome measures (ePROMs) in child health centers and school health services
I started as a PhD research fellow at the department of health- and sports science in April 2021. I graduated as a nurse from the University of Tromsø in 2015 and hold a master’s in public health science from University of Agder. The master thesis focused on motivation for physical activity in adolescent with asthma.
I have clinical experience as a nurse from the specialist health service, cardiopulmonary and vascular surgery, and cardiac medicine.
The aim of the PhD project is to examine how integration of electronic patient reported outcome measures (ePROMs) in child health centers and school health services influences the public health nurses work processes.
Research paper 1
The aim of this paper is to explore how public health nurses work processes, clinical reasoning, and decision making are influenced by integration of proxy-ePROMs in child health centers and school health services.
Research question: How does public health nurses handle information from proxy-ePROM in the work process related to health examination of children between 0-6 years.

This paper will explore parents experience with answering proxy-ePROMs and the meeting with the public health nurses afterwards.
Research question: How does parents experience the public health nurse’s handling of proxy-ePROM in health examinations of children between 0-6 years?

This paper will evaluate how public health nurses emphasize information in the decision-making processes with or without information collected through ePROMs.
