Starting Right®: Godt Begynt- barn og unge i Agder
The aim of the project is to gain knowledge about quality of life (QOL) and health in children and adolescents, and to digitalize and implement evidence-based and structured decision-support concerning all children in child- health centers from 6 months of age until age 16 concerning mental health, growth, development, and health-related quality of life, using validated instruments. Secondly, provide municipal and county health authorities with an overview about the health and quality of life of their child population to underpin systematic evidence-based service improvement, and to create opportunities for longitudinal research on children´s health. https://www.godtbegynt.no/
Young data. Ungdata
This is a cross-national data collection designed to conduct surveys of adolescents between the ages of 14 and 19 at the municipality level in Norway. The Ungdata material is collected online during school hours. The questionnaire has a fixed part, which is similar in all surveys. In addition, the form contains several elective questions that municipalities can choose based on interest and need. NOVA administers the national database, which contains all conducted surveys.
Sleep in parents of healthy, acute or chronic ill children
The aim of the project is to explore sleep in parents of chronic or acute ill children, to identify factors influencing parents’ sleep, and to develop interventions to promote sleep, health and quality of life in parents in divergent phases of life and different contexts. https://foreldresovn.uia.no/om/

Qualified intensive care nurses’ attitudes towards obese intensive care patients
The aim of the project is to explore intensive care nurses’ experiences of caring for obese patients, to develop a web-based survey to measure their implicit and explicit attitudes towards these patients, and to explore whether their attitudes influence their care of obese patients.
ICanCope with PainTM
This project addresses persistent pain and coping with pain among children and adolescent, using a web-based self-management program, the iCanCope with PainTM. In this project, we will investigate the relationship between pain, self-efficacy and health-related quality of life and in adolescents, and we will do a cultural translation and feasibility testing of the Norwegian iCanCope with PainTM app, aimed at reducing pain and improving health-related quality of life in a school-based population of adolescents with persistent pain.
Start Young- Quality of Life and Pain in generations. Start Ung , addresses pain and quality of life (QOL) in adolescents and their families, and aim to enable a better understanding of the links between social contexts, socioeconomic factors, health, pain, and Health -related quality of life (HRQOL) among adolescents and their families over time.
Community work in Tanzania
This umbrella program with work packages aims to (i) evaluate the HAMA programs experienced by individuals and groups who are involved in the programs; (ii) map community health in Tanga; (iii) evaluate the impacts of the exchange of nurse students completing their clinical placements in different health services in Tanga.
