Reserving stand

At UiA, you can reserve a space for your stand to showcase non-commercial projects on both campuses.

Share your project

At the University of Agder (UiA), we offer the opportunity for all non-commercial groups, including student associations and organizations, to reserve a space to share their projects and activities on our two campuses.

We have 4 stand spaces in Kristiansand and 3 in Grimstad. The cafeteria areas are operated by SiA and are therefore not included.

Reserve stand

For login and confirmation of reservation:

  • UiA students and employees log in via FEIDE, and confirmation is sent to your UiA email address.
  • External guests use ID-porten for login, and confirmation is sent to the email address linked to your profile.

Confirmation

To reserve stand space at UiA, fill out and submit the form with information about your activity. You will receive an initial email confirming that we have received your request, but the final confirmation of the reservation will only come after we have checked availability and properly registered your order.

Please give us 2-3 working days' notice to ensure we can process your request.

Regulations for stands at UiA

The University of Agder (UiA) aims to create an environment in the Vrimlehallen at Campus Kristiansand and in Gata at Campus Grimstad where students can engage, learn, and participate without being subjected to aggressive activity. At the same time, we see the value in collaborating with external actors and wish to offer a balanced and relevant presence at our stand spaces.

Permitted Stand Activities

  • All student activities and associations with members at UiA can book a stand space.
  • The largest cultural and sports actors in the university cities or region that are UiA's partners, including Kilden, Kunstsilo, IK Start, Vipers Kristiansand, Amazon Grimstad, KRS Handball, ØIF Arendal, Sia, Kristiansand student society/Bare student house, and Grimstad student society, can have a stand to inform about and sell tickets to their main events. The Director of Communications approves any exceptions or new actors on this list.
  • Our host municipalities, Kristiansand and Grimstad, can book stand space.
  • Commercial and non-profit actors can have a stand in collaboration with UiA's line associations and student activities, as long as the activity is informative (for example, about career opportunities or scholarships) and not sales-oriented. The line association or activity should stand at the stand together with the external actor.

Non-permitted Stand Activities

  • No form of aggressive sales or marketing is allowed.
  • Political or religious activity not related to student elections or student activities is not allowed.
  • Commercial and non-profit actors without an active collaboration with a line association or UiA are not allowed stand space.
  • No waffle making, coffee brewing, or other heat sources that can trigger a fire alarm.

Exceptions for Larger Events

During larger events such as the Sørlandsk lærerstemne (Southern Norway Teacher Conference), Career Week, International Day and similar, other guidelines apply.
