Deadline to apply for extension of stay
For autumn semester: 1 May
For spring semester: 1 November
Step 1: Get confirmation from your home institution
Contact your home institution to make sure you are eligible to go on exchange for another semester.
Step 2: Inform us you want to prolong your stay
The international office needs to see the confirmation from your home institution in order to update your student status for next semester in our systems.
Send us an email at int-office@uia.no with the confirmation from your home institution attached.
Step 3: Apply for courses
Once your student status has been renewed for another semester, you need to apply for the courses you want to take.

Remember to extent your housing contract.
UiA cannot guarantee your contract with SiA will be renewed.
