Course contents

The Course is an introduction to the practice and theory of theatre and drama application and use in schools and art schools.

The individual student will develop their creative potential through practice of improvisation, applied theatre, drama pedagogy and theatre. While the students work on their own creative projects, it will simultaneously be discussed how the theatre’s elements, methods and forms also occur in children’s spontaneous dramatic play, and the digital everyday of young adults.

Furthermore, the students will learn about the opportunities and challenges associated with theatre as a profession, and as a subject in schools and higher education. The elective course Hall and stage in secondary school and courses in music, dance and drama in upper secondary school will be key in this context.
