The admission requirements for the Executive MBA is a completed bachelor¿s degree or equivalent education consisting of at least 180 ECTS and a minimum of two years relevant work experience after the completion of the education.
Relevant work experience is herein work experience within management or work experience from other positions with independent responsibilities.
Recommended prerequisites
Good knowledge of the English language is recommended.

Production management using JIT, lean (value chains for functional products), agile production (value chain for innovative products); net demand assessments (MRPI, MRPII)

Learning outcomes
The student is to:

be able to identify scope for improvement in production and projects

acquire basic principles and methods from production planning

be able to apply methods related to Just In Time (JIT), lean and agile production management

identify and analyse bottlenecks in the production

have insights on and develop demand assessments based on different forecasting methods

apply basic principles for warehouse management; have insights on different models for distribution and transport

Teaching methods
Lectures and group work at three sessions within the semester, each of them consisting of two- three days sessions. Net based teaching through Canvas. Submission of two compulsory assignments between the sessions.

Evaluation
The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.
Assessment methods and criteria
Individual five- day exam at home. The grades A-F are used (ECTS grading scale).
