The admission requirements for the Executive MBA is a completed bachelor¿s degree or equivalent education consisting of at least 180 ECTS and a minimum of two years relevant work experience after the completion of the education.
Relevant work experience is herein work experience within management or work experience from other positions with independent responsibilities.
Recommended prerequisites
Good knowledge of the English language is recommended.

Supply chain management & principles and application

Process management in procurement, including purchasing, function and organisation, tenders and contracts

Strategic supply management - portfolio analysis, supplier classification, procurement risks and analysis of consequences, development and implementation of purchasing strategies

Supplier cooperation & evaluation of cooperation, transaction costs and risk negotiation techniques and supplier development

Key performance indicators for supply: total cost management and principles for life cycle costs, development of key performance indicators for industrial procurement

Supply chain management as competitive strategy & international trends and developments in supply
Learning outcomes
The student is to:

Acquire knowledge of an ability to apply key principles within supply chain management, supplier cooperation and supply indicators;

Have the ability to apply the principles in an analysis of a specific business unit and develop a course of action

Acquire knowledge on how businesses can operate in a supplier market, and how procurement businesses can manage their supply activities and supplier relations by using different strategies and measures
Examination requirements
Two compulsory assignments must be approved
Teaching methods
Lectures and group work at three sessions within the semester, each of them consisting of two-three days sessions. Net based teaching through Canvas. Submission of two compulsory assignments between the sessions.

The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.
Assessment methods and criteria
4- hour written individual school exam. The grades A-F are used (ECTS grading scale).
