NorwegianCourse contents
The course offers an introduction to organisational project management, i.e. how organisations utilise projects for restructuring, development and innovation. Thus, the interaction between projects and the base organisation is central. We document why projects are proliferating in working life and discuss why. By assessing developments in project research, the course considers diverse aspects of the academic field of project management. The student is introduced to classical project management, with an emphasis on central concepts regarding phases and roles in the project. Moreover, the course discusses leadership in project teams, including a section on communication and cooperation in international projects.
