Course contents
The students will complete an independent research project with tutor guidance. The students will practice developing relevant and suitable research questions and finding and writing about literature which is relevant to the topic of their thesis. The students’ ability to situate their project within Translation Studies and to relate their findings to current debates in the field will be strongly emphasized. Research method is seen as crucial, both in terms of students’ ability to critically engage and as a bearing element of the students’ own projects. Academic writing is also an important element in this course.
