The student:
Knowledge:

has knowledge of how practical skills must be performed to ensure a qualitatively good execution in interaction with the pasient
Skills:

can master skills, procedures and relevant medical equipment

can apply professional knowledge of basic needs, health and health failure to systematically observe, assess and propose appropriate nursing measures, as well as evaluate their effectiveness and adjust as needed

can apply knowledge to take action in subacute and acute events

can perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation with an automated external defibrillator (AED)

can apply hygienic principles

can reflect on their own relational and communication skills
General competence:

can lead and prioritize their own work in nursing services

can apply principles for safe medication management within the nurse's function and responsibility

Approved self-training in HHLR.

Skills training and simulation in the university's clinical laboratory / practice department.
The scope of the work is estimated to 135 hours.

Evaluation
The person responsible for the course decides, in cooperation with student representative, the form of student evaluation and whether the course is to have a midway or end of course evaluation in accordance with the quality system for education, chapter 4.1.
