On completion of the courses the participants should have the ability to:

Understand the role of a tutor and be able to guide in a digital learning eco system environment.

The participant will gain/improve skills in:

organizing online learning environments using a Learning Management System (LMS)

the use of UDL (Universal Design for Learning) principles in order to create an inclusive learning environment

Teaching methods
Detailed study guides with learning tasks and activities, learner focused approach with tutor support, many-to-many communication, group work, negotiation of meaning in asynchronous threaded discussions, video lectures, peer tutoring and online quizzes. Group hand-ins in addition to individual hand-ins. Estimated student workload: 270 hours.
Evaluation
The person responsible for the course decides, in cooperation with student representative, the form of student evaluation and whether the course is to have a midway or end of course evaluation in accordance with the quality system for education, chapter 4.1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Portfolio assessment counting 40 % of the total grade and a 4 day home exam counting 60 %. Graded A-F. Information about the requirements for the portfolio will be given in the study guide
