Course contents

The course focuses on learning various creative techniques for processing one's own or others' main instrument in a concert context. The course will go through various methods and tools for sound processing, such as how to use selected software and digital instruments in a concert situation. Central to the course is how these creative techniques within Live Electronics relate to the student's own artistic practice.

Through listening as a method and group dialogue, students are trained to communicate various professional and aesthetic issues. The course also gives students experience with various issues related to planning and carrying out a concert where artistic use of music technology is central.
