The course introduces concepts, principles, techniques and processes for the design and evaluation of digital interaction solutions.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will:

have knowledge of key design principles, processes and methods of digital interaction solutions

have knowledge of and be able to apply criteria for evaluating usability

be able to participate actively in analysis, design, construction and testing of prototypes for digital interaction solutions with appropriate usability

know about relevant regulations and standards for usability and accessibility of digital interaction solutions.

have knowledge of issues of ethical nature related to digital interaction design

understand challenges and opportunities related to working in projects

have developed capabilities for collaboration, communication, critical assessment and managing paradoxes
Examination requirements
Approved mandatory assignments.
Teaching methods
Organized teaching in the form of lectures and group work. Mandatory work consists of, among other things, project-based assignments and presentations. Expected workload is 270 hours.
Evaluation
The person responsible for the course decides, in cooperation with student representative, the form of student evaluation and whether the course is to have a midway or end of course evaluation in accordance with the quality system for education, chapter 4.1.

40 % Group-based project assignment with common grade. 60 % written individual exam. Grades range A-F
