The course requires a level of knowledge as is covered in the course IND416-G Project Management and -Planning. Recommended level of knowledge as covered in the courses IND419-G Engineering Management and IND418-G Lean Production. We recommend that IND422-G Risk Management course is studied concurrently. This is an advanced level course within project management, and emphasizes comprehensive managerial and business perspectives on project-based industries.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student should know how to:

Teaching methods
The course includes lectures, reading material, practical assignments done both individually and in groups. It requires continuous work throughout the semester. Further information will be provided in Canvas. The expected workload of the course is 200 hours.
Evaluation
The Head of study programme, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.
Assessment methods and criteria
Individually home examen over ca. 2 weeks. Letter grades.
