Course contents

The course provides a basic understanding of production and interaction between the parties in the building and construction industry, including regulatory provisions and digital tools.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student should:

 

  • Have a basic understanding of the sequences and the distribution of roles in a building / construction project.

  • Know the structure of legislation and regulations that regulate this business.

  • Understand and be able to describe the consequences of different types of implementation models.

  • Know how some digital tools can help organize and rationalize the planning and building process.

Examination requirements

Students must pass the compulsory assignments in order to take the examination.

Teaching methods

Lectures, exercises and a semester assignment that includes role-play and/or a case study of a building/construction project.

Assessment methods and criteria

Individual oral exam, which is largely related to the semester assignment. Graded grade.
