Course contents

The students will prepare a literature review on a given topic. This is a pure literature study based on 100 pages relevant litterature, references not included.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the students will have

  • gained an understanding of methodological and analytical approaches relevant to the field of research

  • acquired proficiency in literature evaluation

  • developed skills in performing a review of scientific literature, and presenting findings orally

Examination requirements

A compulsory oral presentation of the chosen topic covering the learning outcomes.

Teaching methods

The teaching methods are mainly self-study. Information will be given in Canvas at the start of the course.
Estimated student workload in this course is 135 hours.

Evaluation

The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.

Assessment methods and criteria

An oral presentation of the chosen topic covering the learning outcomes. After the presentation the candidate is questioned and evaluated by the course responsible and an examiner.
Graded assessment A – F.
