  • Is familiar with quality challenges at system and / or task level that require innovation

  • Is familiar with the tools and methods to drive innovation processes, implementation and continuous improvement work

  • Has knowledge of information security in nursing practice

  • Is able to reflect on routines and methods, and to initiate dialogue on implementation of new knowledge and new working methods

  • Is able to reflect and critically evaluate ethical and legal challenges when using technology and digital solutions

  • Is able to use technology and digital solutions to support patients' and relatives' resources, coping skills and participation

General competence

  • Has insight into the development and use of technology and digital solutions at the individual and system level

  • Is able to apply knowledge about quality challenges in health services in a plan for the development and implementation of a continuous improvement work or an innovation project

Teaching methods

The teaching methods are seminars, group laboratory work, lectures and self-study.

The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Assessment methods and criteria

Oral presentation in groups of project assignment in the form of a poster. Pass / fail assessment.

One grade is given for each group.
