Students will practice anaesthesia nursing with their supervisor or anaesthesia nurse. Further, students will write their own goals, set up their own shift schedule and participate in placement theory classes.

The contact nurse is responsible for continuous supervision in terms of the place's specialties and unique characteristics. The teacher, in cooperation with the supervisor, is responsible for advising and assessing the student.

Reflection groups are made up of students, placement supervisors and the teacher.

The practical placement studies are compulsory (requiring 90% attendance). Participation in the reflection groups and theory teaching is considered a part of the practical studies and is also compulsory.

More detailed information can be found in the course booklet that is made available to students via the Canvas learning management system.
