NorwegianCourse contents
The course gives fundamental introduction to idea development and aesthetic means through practical-aesthetic work in well-equipped workshops. The students will be introduced to materials, tools and techniques that will form the basis for experimenting within art and design processes. Digital media will be used to document your work, for mediation, and to create artistic expressions. The students will get to know various formats for critical evaluation of own and others work, for documentation and for mediation of the students own processes. The course will give the student knowledge on relevant art movements within contemporary arts. The relevant theory will shed light on contemporary visual art and its references to art history and societal challenges. The students will be trained in professional mediation for a duration of 1-2 weeks in an art/culture institution.
