  • Health surveillance

  • Public health in planning processes

  • Knowledge-based public health work as a working method

  • Cross-sectoral approach to public health work

  • Project organization and project management

  • Implementation and evaluation of projects

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of the course, students will:

  • have knowledge of methods for health monitoring and sources of health statistics

  • have knowledge of project organisation and project management

  • have knowledge of how to define, plan and carry out projects

  • be able to use methods to strengthen innovation in inter-sectoral public health work

  • be able to apply methods for work with health surveys and development work

  • be able to contribute to knowledge-based anchoring of public health work

  • Course requirement must be met (written assignment)

  • Attendance requirements must be met
