Introduction to technical drawing, understanding of technical drawings, digital production of building information models and detailed drawings, the dimansions og a building information model, a general introduction to concepts used in civil engineering, and sustainable building design
Learning outcomes
Upon completion, the students should:

be able to prepare 2D-drawings and digital 3D-models

be able to understand and disseminate the content of drawings and 3D-models

be able to explain and communicate the impact and use of the dimensions of building information models

be able to produce a 3D-model of a construction and corresponding technical drawings of cross sections and planes.

understand how sustainable thinking influences building design.
Teaching methods
Laboratory program supported by lectures. Updated digital tools will be used for producing drawings. The workload is estimated to be 27 hours per credit for the average student.
Evaluation
The person responsible for the course decides, in cooperation with student representative, the form of student evaluation and whether the course is to have a midway or end of course evaluation in accordance with the quality system for education, chapter 4.1.”
Assessment methods and criteria
Project report carried out in a group. Graded assessment. Individual grade can be given according to the oral presentation. The oral presentation can adjust the grade up or down one grade.
