Instruction is a continuation of courses in the first year of the Bachelor programme in IT and information systems.
Course contents
Introduction to and application of basic models, concepts, problems, and tasks in analysis and design of information systems development.
The students, working in groups, will produce a report of their analysis and design activities in developing an information system.
Through coordination of activities between IS 200, IS-201, and IS-202 the students will learn and experience how their analysis and design can be implemented.

Work in groups analysing and designing an information system
IS-200 will be coordinated with IS-201 and IS-202, so students are encouraged to take all three.
Note that standard workload for 10 ECTS is 13 hours per week per student.
Evaluation
The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.

Assessment methods and criteria
Group portfolio evaluation that counts 40% and group exam with individual grade that counts 60%. Graded grade A-F.
