The course is directly related to the student¿s work with developing a project description for the master¿s thesis.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course, the students will:

Be able to relate classical research studies to discussions of current issues, and be able to conclude on a main topic for independent research

Be able to choose /develop and describe methods adapted to a specifically chosen research issue

Be able to critically evaluate chosen research methods with regard to validity and reliability
Teaching methods
Work methods in the course will be lectures, group work, self studies and supervision.
Estimated work load is 405 hours.
Evaluation
The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1.
