Learning outcomes

The student:

Knowledge

  • has knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body, as well as biochemistry

  • is familiar with anatomical structures and organs in the human body and the position of organs in relation to each other

  • is familiar with the function of various organs and organ systems in the body and anatomical structure

  • is familiar with anatomical structure:organ and organ system (macroanatomic), and cells and tissue (microanatomical)

  • is familiar with the functions of the various organs and organ systems in the body

General competence

  • can communicate central biochemical processes, normal physiology of the various organs and organ systems, and regulatory mechanisms and homeostasis in the healthy body

Passed multiple choice test.

The teaching methods are lectures, self-study and supervised group work.

Evaluation

The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Individual 4 hour written school exam. Assessment: Graded assessment.
