Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will:

have knowledge about central psychological development theories

have knowledge about relevant concepts and theories in sociology and social anthropology

have knowledge about demographics an epidemiology, national, and global health

have knowledge about basic communication and communication forms and be able to apply relevant communication techniques

have knowledge about user participation both on individual ¿ and system levels

have knowledge about complementary and alternative treatment

have insight into ethical theories, principles, nursing ethical problems

be able to describe the health legislation which regulates nursing activities
-
have insight into different views on reality, human life, and values
-
know about the the steps in the research process and various research methods, and be able to use research literature in relevant work

be able to describe the service, structure, and organisation of the welfare state, the health services, and the nursing services

Evaluation

A graded three-day take-home in groups of three-four students.
