Learning outcomes
On completion of the courses the participants should have the ability to:

perform student assessments including online methods as part of the learning process
The participant will gain/improve skills in:

organising online learning environments using a Learning Management System (LMS)

giving appropriate feedback to learners and groups of learners

Teaching methods
Detailed study guides with learning tasks and activities, learner focused approach with tutor support, many-to-many communication, group work, negotiation of meaning in asynchronous threaded discussions, group hand-ins in addition to individual hand-ins. Group and individual studies. Video lectures. Peer tutoring. Online quizzes.Estimated student workload: 270 hours.
Evaluation
The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Assessment methods and criteria
Portfolio assessment counting 40 % of the total grade and a 4 day home exam counting 60 %. Graded A-F. Information about the requirements for the portfolio will be given in the study guide.
