Course contents

Focus will be on

  • introduction to various translation and word-processing tools

  • electronic information sources as well as information evaluation

  • technology for digital cooperation

  • technological developments and translation work

Learning outcomes

After completion of the course, students should be able to use relevant electronic tools in order to carry out translation tasks in an efficient and up-to-date manner.

In addition, they will have acquired a reflective attitude to the role of various translation tools.

The course evaluation is completed as a midterm evaluation in accordance with the provisions listed in the Quality Assurance System Chapter 2.1.1. A final evaluation may be completed as required.
