Teaching language
SpanishRecommended prerequisites
Language skills equivalent to level 2 in upper secondary school (general studies branch)/ B1 Common European Framework for Languages are recommended. A language course or a stay in a Spanish speaking country is also recommended. The main language of instruction is Spanish. It will be very demanding to follow the course without any previous knowledge.
Course contents
The course focuses on spoken language to introduce different variants of Spanish. Working with different dialects and variants of Spanish, the student will increase their ability to understand and express themselves in Spanish, and to recognise different communicative situations.

Mandatory attendance requirement: 70%

Evaluation
The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1.

Assessment methods and criteria
A written assignement consisting of 1500 words and an oral examination.The written assignement will make up 40% for the final grade, and the oral examination will make up 60 %. Graded assessment.
