On successfully completion of the course, students

- have knowledge about national and international research with relevance to the area Early Chilhood Education
- have knowledge about intersujective theory and research
- have broad knowledge about the youngest children's culture and early childhood
- have knowledge about the kindergarten as context for children's every day life
- have knowledge about children's right to involvement and learning
- have knowledge about project work in the kindergarten

- can critically reflect upon relevant theories and practice and on ethical dilemmas and didactical challanges

Examination requirements
Completed portfolio, and received individual supervision.
Meet the attendance requirements. Practical training must be passed.
Evaluation
Course evaluation is conducted at midterm. A final evaluation is conducted as required.
Assessment methods and criteria
Two individual portfolio assignments will be given a graded assessment.
Each assignment counts 50% of the final grade. Graded assessment.
