Terms of business development.
Structure of business models and business plans, and exercise in describing these in terms of different receivers.
Presentation of key partners in the business context and the importance of their contribution.
Introduction to different types of companies, basic budgeting and financial planning.
Implementation of task-related market research.
The course is structured so that it is possible for students to establish their own business during the course and provides guidance along the way.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course, the student will

be able to describe ideas in business using relevant concepts, adapted to different receivers.

be able to develop business models, budgets and business plans.

be familiar with key policies and procedures relating to the establishment and operation of corporations.

know basic forms of innovation, support and protection of intangible assets.

be able to conduct simple market research.
Examination requirements
Students must pass/successfully complete the following compulsory assignments in order to take the examination:

approved group assignment with oral presentation

approved individual written assignment
-
participation in minimum 75% og lectures and group work
Evaluation
Course evaluation is carried out as a midterm evaluation in accordance with standard procedure in the quality assurance system, chapter 2.1.1., unless other information is given in the beginning of the semester.
