Passed the examination in NOU400 Core Course, and one of the Specializations 1 or 2.

 

Course contents

Topic study in Nordic language- or literary science.

Learning outcomes

On successfully completion of the course, students should
- have acquired in-depth knowledge about certain components of the subject of Nordic Linguistics or Literature
- be able to assess and utilize this knowledge in an independent manner in new and different contexts.

 

Evaluation

The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.

Assessment methods and criteria

Trial lecture of a given topic. The topic will be given two weeks before the lecture. Graded assessment. The evaluation will emphasis on professional content and communicative skills. When it comes to assessment of language, the students¿ linguistic background will be taken into account.
