Norwegian.Course contents
Specialization in Nordic linguistics. The theme varies from one year to another, but the basis will be recent scientific research and be related to the research activity in the academic environment. A more detailed description of the contents will be available before the semester starts.

Examination requirements
An oral presentation must be assessed as a Pass.
Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars. The students will participate actively in discussions and analyses. All students must give an oral presentation. In special cases, this can be replaced by a written assignment. The workload is estimated at 400 hours.
Evaluation
The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.

Assessment methods and criteria
8-hours individual written examination. Graded assessment. The examination is to be written in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language (Danish or Swedish). Dictionary use is allowed. The evaluation will emphasis on professional content and communicative skills. When it comes to assessment of language, the students' linguistic background will be taken into account.
