The course is a precursor to the bachelor thesis, and must be passed before the bachelor thesis can be delivered.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will:

be able to work with music productions from a pre-production phase to a completed result

Examination requirements
- Approved attendance to teaching
- Passed compulsory assignments. the number of compulsory assignments is presented in Canvas at the beginning of the semester.
- Approved written project description of the forthcoming Bachelor thesis.
Teaching methods
Training is conducted as a combination of lectures and supervision in groups. Efforts with audio music technological means and equipment associated with music production. There are practical studio work.
Expected scope of work for the average student is 27 hours per credit.
Evaluation
The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.
Assessment methods and criteria
A project with the submission of a complete audio product. Counts as 60% of the final grade.
A written proposal of the impending bachelor thesis. Counts as 40% of the final grade.
