Course contents

Functions of one variable, elementary functions, derivation and integration, simple differential equations, applications.

Learning outcomes

  • Explain and use central concepts regarding functions of one variable

  • Use the properties over the elementary functions

  • Derivate and integrate

  • Solve simple differential equations

  • Make simple models and solve practical problems

Teaching methods

Lectures and exercises. The course has an expected workload of around 266 hours.

Evaluation

Assessment methods and criteria

A 5-hour written examination. Graded assessment.
