Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student is expected to have:

necessary knowledge in mathematics to go on to MA-007 Pre-Course in Mathematics 2

knowledge and skills that correspond to R1 (2MX) from the Norwegian videregående skole (upper secondary school)

Examination requirements

Approved mandatory exercises. Information about the mandatory exercises will be given in Canvas at the start of the semester.

Evaluation

The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.

Assessment methods and criteria

Written examination, 3 hours, in August. Pass/Fail.
