A minimum of 45 ECTS credits from the specialisation component of the BA programme must have been completed.
Course contents
This is a project-oriented course where students mainly work independently under supervision. Some lectures and seminars will be given, focusing primarily on research methods. Students may choose a topic among relevant subjects in the field of communication.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will:

be able to complete a minor theoretical, analytical and empirical research project related to a current subject in the bachelor programme

have insight into basic methodical requirements in this kind of research projects
Examination requirements

an oral presentation of the student's project assignment must be passed

students must have attended the compulsory supervision (2 tutorial meetings)
Teaching methods
Independent work with tutorials, lectures and seminars. Compulsory supervision: 2 tutorial meetings. The workload is estimated to about 270 hours.
Evaluation
The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1.
Assessment methods and criteria
Written project assignment from one or several subjects in the specialisation part of the BA. Graded assessment.
