Course contents
The instruction is based on the introduction given in Sound and Video I.
The students will work with the audio-visual expressions with focus on analytical, communicative, esthetical and practical perspectives.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course, students should be able to

make a video production with a professional character as regards content and technical

apply relevant production equipment, and know about its manner of operation

develop a greater project from idea to a finished product

analyze functional and esthetics aspects on moving pictures

reflect critically and theoretically on one’s own project work
Examination requirements
Two compulsory assingments must be passed. Further information will be published in Canvas.
Teaching methods
Lectures, seminars and group work combined in thematic periods. During the semester students must, under supervision, accomplish a project work in practical media production according to further criteria given in Canvas. The workload is estimated to about 400 hours.
Evaluation
The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1.
